Welcome to the Character race list! Here you can find all the accepted races you can use in your character application, in alphabetical order. Hair Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Black, Brown, Blonde and Red/Ginger, although color is unlimited through the development of hair dye.

Origin: Humans were known as a "Dominant Race" since the earliest documentations of life, and evolved into an intelligent society, having originated on a planet called EARTH, though Humans have gained the knowledge and skill to travel through space. However, they have yet to explore the cold, alien depths in the void known as SPACE

Hair Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Black, Brown, Blonde and Red/Ginger.

Sub-races: Half-breed, Pureblood.

Pureblood---
Category/Type: Supernatural
Average Height: 6-7 feet
Average Weight: 120-250 lbs
Eye Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Yellows and Oranges. The white of the eye can also be naturally white, or black, giving the individual an intimidating, feral look. this can change at will.
Hair Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Black, Gray, White and Brown.
- Intuitive (has keener sense of hearing and smell. ability to track upon a given scent)
- Lawful (respects the laws of nature and other racial communities, even human law)
- Muscular (slightly better in strength and stamina exercises)
Location: Forests, Tundras and Arctic areas
Culture: Oligarchy (A form of government in which power effectively rests with a small elite segment of society distinguished by royal, wealth, intellectual, family, military or religious hegemony) the Inumi race flocked to oligarchy within the last thousand years, in order to keep up with humans. the culture also emphasizes loyalty to the Inumi, and the Inumi only.
Origin: The Inumi is a race of evolved wolves,certain populations having been forced to evolve rapidly over a few thousand years, due to the sudden surge of human population, growth, and civilization. The Inumi is also fluent in the toungue of both Humans and Wolves.

Through their quick evolution, they have three forms (Excluding their new found fourth form, which is a rather convincing human disguise. This does not count as a form, due to the fact that Inumi are born in this form and must learn the other three.), in which they can shift to at will, although doing so takes a decent amount of time, and energy, but is rather painless. the process can be quickened, with an after affect of being unable to change into any other form for twelve hours, and severe fatigue after those twelve hours have ended.

Form Name: Humanoid (natural born form)
Appearance: Skin is actually a thin layer of fur, usually taking an olive tone to it, though it can go lighter in it's color. The ears are one major giveaway or their race, and thus they tend to hide them under their hair, being in the place where a human's ear would be, but with wolf-like ears that flatten backward in the position of a human ear.

Form Name: Minimal (first to learn)
Appearance change: the thin layer of fur that is their "skin" thickens and saturates sllightly in color, depending on the hair color. their ears are more noticable, and stick out from their shaggier hair, any previous styling is undone. nose has a tinge of black and a tail is formed, allong with the development of claw-like nails, either white or black in color. any clothing worn at the time of change will not tear, though minor flaws in skin-tight clothing will occur as the individual amasses a more muscular build.
Trigger(s): triggered at will
Strengths in this Form: Stronger melee attacks, can use claw-like nails as weapon.
Weaknesses in this Form: small voice change, slightly deeper and raspier. (this can raise suspicion)

Form Name: Hybrid (second to learn)
Appearance change: Fur thickens more and saturates in color, depending on the hair color. hair begins to fade into a fur pelt. their ears begin to move themselves upward towards the top of the head. a muzzle will form allong with the further development of claw-like nails, either white or black in color. any clothing worn at the time of change will begin to tear, and skin-tight clothing will tear off completely. legs change in shape to digitigrade (animal-like legs that have the ability to stand bipedieally (two legged)

Strengths in this Form: Stronger melee attacks, can bite
Weaknesses in this Form: voice change, noticeably deeper and raspier, also visibly distinguishable  from human, thus possibly provoking an attack if seen.

Form Name: Feral (Third to learn)
Appearance change: Indistinguishable from a normal wolf, with the exception of longer strands of fur resembling slight bangs in according to the individual's natural style.
Trigger(s): triggered at will
Strengths in this Form: can bite, faster run speed
Weaknesses in this Form: extreme voice change, very deep and raspy, can provoke attack if seen and heard speaking. loss of bipedal stance and melee attacks, except for biting and body slamming.



half-breed---
Category/Type: Supernatural
Average Height: 5-6 feet
Average Weight: 120-250 lbs
Eye Color(s): Natural colors include shades from brown to yellow. The white of the eye can also be naturally white, or black, giving the individual an intimidating, feral look. usually one eye will be white, the other, black. cannot change
Hair Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Black and Brown.
- Intuitive (has keener sense of hearing and smell. ability to track upon a given scent unless half-breed, though this can be learned through a Pureblood's assistance)
- Lawful (respects the laws of nature and other racial communities, even human law.
- Muscular (slightly better in strength and stamina exercises)
Location: Forests, Tundras and Arctic areas
Culture: None. half-breeds either manage their condition within the human community, or live  in the wild.
Origin: Half-breeds are neither human nor Pureblood, but within the middle. this occurs when A. A human and Inumi create a child, or B.(and more commonly) A human is attacked by an Inumi, and the blood of the attacker enters the Human's blood stream. this can also happen if a human is bitten by an Inumi with the intention of "infecting" them.

Form Name: Human (slightly changed)
Appearance change: The ears sharpen into a point, and lay flatly on the side of the head.

Form Name: Minimal (small blood transfer/ low infection intention)
Appearance change:. their ears are more wolf-like, and stick out from their shaggier hair, any previous styling is undone. nose has a tinge of black and a tail is formed, allong with the development of claw-like nails, white in color. any clothing worn at the time of change will not tear, though minor flaws in skin-tight clothing will occur as the individual amasses a more muscular build.
Trigger(s): triggered at will if skilled in this form. involuntarily occurs under the week that the moon is at it's fullest, only during night, from moon-rise to sunrise.
Strengths in this Form: Stronger melee attacks, can use claw-like nails as weapon.
Weaknesses in this Form: small voice change, slightly deeper and raspier. (this can raise suspicion)

Form Name: Hybrid (moderate/high blood transfer/infection intention)
Appearance change: Fur thickens more and saturates in color, depending on the hair color. hair begins to fade into a fur pelt. their ears begin to move themselves upward towards the top of the head. a muzzle will form allong with the further development of claw-like nails, white in color. any clothing worn at the time of change will begin to tear, and skin-tight clothing will tear off completely. legs change in shape to digitigrade (animal-like legs that have the ability to stand bipedieally (two legged)
Trigger(s): triggered at will if skilled in this form. involuntarily occurs under the week that the moon is at it's fullest, only during night, from moon-rise to sunrise.
Strengths in this Form: Stronger melee attacks, can learn rage ability (strength, stamina and speed are increased if individual undergoes high levels of anger, panic or fear, memory of the duration becomes hazy, and causes fatigue in the morning afterward)
Weaknesses in this Form: voice change, noticeably deeper and raspier, also visibly distinguishable  from human, thus possibly provoking an attack if seen, difficulty in speech, particularly with consonants, and the I vowel.

Form Name: Feral (can be learned through guidance of a Pureblood)
Appearance change: Indistinguishable from a normal wolf, with the exception of longer strands of fur resembling slight bangs in according to the individual's natural style.
Trigger(s): triggered at will if skilled in this form. involuntarily occurs under the week that the moon is at it's fullest, only during night, from moon-rise to sunrise.
Strengths in this Form: can bite, faster run speed, ability to choose which form they involuntarily change into, during the week they change.
Weaknesses in this Form: extreme voice change, very deep and raspy, can provoke attack if seen and heard speaking. loss of bipedal stance and melee attacks, except for biting and body slamming. loss of speaking capabilities.
Additional Information: Half-breeds are commonly wrongly classified with the human stereotype of Werewolf. Half-breeds do not turn into savage creatures under the full moon, but are rather scared and panicked, and may accidentally attack in the name of self-defense. it is true however, for some reason that after "infection", the individual will tend to have cravings or raw meat, due to the supernatural surge of power. most Half-breeds, either turn to savagery, or are so afraid of themselves that they go into hiding in the wild, usually flocking to a thickly forested area. few actually learn to accept it. those who do are able to learn any form they were not infected with, with the help and guidance of a Pureblood. Half-breeds are able to sense other half-breeds, but not Purebloods, thus tending to mingle in groups with other half-breeds

Nekomi

Category/Type: Arcane
Average Height: 4-6 feet
Average Weight: 90- 175 lbs
Eye Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of blue, green, aqua, and yellow/hazel. genetic mutation can result in two eye colors, one in each eye.
Hair Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Black, Tan, white, and rarely orange, though it is not uncommon for genetic mutations to occur, resulting in an unnatural hair color. in fact, genetic mutations in the hair gene is actually more common than natural color.
- Arcane (Can preform acts of Magic)
- Petite (can fit into rather small spaces, nooks and crannies)
-Nimble (increased dexterity, flexibility, and reflexes)
Location: Underground caverns and dark areas of the wild environment.
Culture: Monarchy (classic king/queen royal family government)
Origin: The Nekomi are the youngest of the four Earthly species, having been forced to evolve during a rather short period of only a thousand years. The Nekomi is a group of evolved felines, though many genetic imperfections are present due to their rushed evolution. however they are very skilled at using magic, but very not skilled with technology.
Appearance: The Nekomi have rather large ears that rest on the top of their head, though shape is varied through sub-species. this includes any species in the genus Felis. (examples: lion, tiger, panther, bobcat, mountain lion, domestic feline, ect.) The tend to either hide underground, or mix with human society, hiding their large ears under a hat or hood, though this is extremely frowned upon in the Nekomi community. They also have long tails that help them keep their balance almost down to a tee. due to genetic imperfections, they can either have a very thick, or very thin coat of fur, varying on species, and may or may not have whiskers, as these are very useful when unaware of their surroundings, but also mark them as unable to blend with human society. Their large ears grant them great hearing ability, but leaves them extremely sensitive to very high and low pitched noises. their eyes are very reflective, and will seem to glow with the faintest amount of light present, granting them low light vision, lest it be pitch black. low light vision is the ability to see in the dark in shades of grays, mimicking both color, pattern, depth and texture, giving them about 60 feet in dim light and 20 feet in near total darkness. however, their reflective eyes also can give their location away very easily if hiding from a foe. this can be solved however, by closing their eyes. another genetic mishap is the involuntary change into their "feral" form, if their heart rate exceeds 150 bpm, as their bodies tend to be very small, resulting in a faster heartbeat. if this occurs the individual must wait three hours before reverting to give their body time to calm itself and regenerate energy. however this "feral" form can also be achieved at will.

Form Name: Feral (Nekomi)
Appearance change: Indistinguishable from their feral sub-species counterpart.
Trigger(s): triggered at will, and if bpm exceeds 150
Strengths in this Form: increased Agility, run speed,
Weaknesses in this Form: loss of speech capability, feral instincts more dominant.

Nekomi individuals dislike having their feral instincts exploited, seeing it as a lack of self control, though it is however very common for lovers to exploit their spouse's/significant other's feral instincts.

Pureblood---
Category/Type: Arcane
Average Height: 5-7 feet
Average Weight: 120-250 lbs
Eye Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Red, purple, grey and white. Half-breeds retain their eye color.  
Hair Color(s): Natural colors include various shades of Black, White and Red. Half-breeds retain their hair color.
- Graceful (increased dexterity)
- Light Sensitive (temporarily Stunned by light)
- Dead-Alive (Strength is increased in darkness)
Location: Any, with the excpetion of locations that exceed their physical limitations.
Culture: Has no dominant form of government, as they blend in with human society, and conform to their rules and laws, though a republic is commonly used in the wilderness
Origin: The Noctori are a very eloquent race. Evolved from bats, the Noctori have an excellent sense of echo-location but not the best eyesight. over the eons, the Noctori have developed into a rich and diverse race, where they eventually began to take a humanoid form. the first sightings of Noctori to the human eye was during the middle ages, all across the world.  through their exotic culture, the Noctori made hunting a sport, which yielded mates, goods, and rights to the successor. one basic necessity of the Noctori is the constant need of new blood. their blood is worn out and de-oxygenized faster than their frail lungs can oxygenate them, thus resulting in hunting solely for blood. when the Noctori chose humans as their prey, they discovered that human blood is very rich in oxygen, and chose the humans as their sole target, though they still hunted animals for meat. however, as the humans realized the threat of the Noctori, they began to fight back, nearly wiping out the entire Noctori race. the humans nicknamed the Noctori Vampires, the origin of this name is unknown. the Noctori were oppressed, and forced back into the wilderness, where they contemplated a new strategy. a lone human was wandering through Noctori territory, and attacked, but the human survived. curious, they observed the human as it changed, into a hybrid of a human, and a Noctori. it had it's own need for hunting, and was take in by the Noctori as their servant. they repeated this sequence multiple times untill their population equaled the size of the human population, in a matter of years. the humans had decided that they had enough. they tortured captive noctori and brutally killed each one of them. they learned many weaknesses of the Noctori, such as the vulnerability to light, and that they needed to be formally invited into the dwelling places of others. they trained skilled hunters with this knowledge and named them Vampire hunters. as decades passed, the Noctori learned to keep in the shadows, and strike silently, quickly, and without failure. the "vampire" attacks occurred less frequently, and even at one point ceased all together. the Noctori tried a different approach. they attempted to blend in with the humans, and were generally successful, seeming mysterious and well mannered. even though their relationship with the humans were restored, the other races, not so much. During the "Depletion" as they call it, another race, the Inumi, had sat by and watched their kind be slain, even though the humans were killing a massive amount of Inumi as well. the noctori were angered, and declared the Inumi their immortal enemies. the Inumi, who was offended by the accusation, did the same, and so war began between the two races.
The Noctori have fangs that are retractable, and can not only suck blood, but inject it as well. a human injected with Noctori blood either died, or became a hybrid, and a servent to the pureblodded Noctori. they are immune to any and all blood related illnesses that is caused by blood
The Noctori have a sense of echo-location, which are heard from their ears, configured in the brain, then transferred to the eyes and converted into energies that the Noctori can see. they can also telepathically sense their servants and other members of their kin, but not their servants.
The eyes of the Noctori are very unusual, and captivating at the same time. Noctori can charm almost any and every human through contact of their eyes. the Noctori also can charm humans through their voice, and sexual appeal. The Noctori's blood is very toxic to any other being than their own kind. humans are the few known creatures that have a small chance of surviving after being injected with Noctori blood. other creatures that have that small chance are the Inumi, and the Nekomi. their blood also has traces of what the human race calls magic, an illogical force that can do many things, and many great things at that. a bitten hybrid will inherit a small portion of that force, but will be unable to control it. common hybrid abilities include minor increased speed, minor charming, and the ability to sense their master(s) and their other servants. a hybrid's injection is not infectious. A Noctori, and their hybrid servants, have slightly pointed ears. their skin is very pale, due to the fact that the Noctori usually hide in darkness, and cover themselves completely when venturing outside.The arcane potential that the Noctori possess is the greatest out of the humans, Nekomi, and the Inumi. once bitten, a hybrid becomes magically bound to the biter. the Noctori always wear collars, commonly lace, and have a gem fashioned in the center, along with other ruffles and frills. a servant's collar, which appears on the neck of the bitten directly after becoming a hybrid, will be of the same color and fashion, but in lesser detail. commonly it is a thinner lace collar with a smaller gem fashioned on it, and no other frills or ruffles. the biter can choose to magically attach a chain to the collar at any given time, and choose to make the chain disappear, at will, at any time.
